Famous
Steakhouse -Colorado Springs
Famous is
a very unique steakhouse with polished booths and wood
floors. This steakhouse is packed day and night due to
their shrimp and crab Louis salads and head sized
burgers at lunch and their super aged prime steaks at
dinner. Famous isn't just known for their huge slabs of
meat but also their stiff drinks, dark woods, rich
leathers, and the tones of Tony Bennett and The
Chairman. Famous is the Best Overall Restaurant says the
Best Steakhouse magazine and the Best Restaurant for
carnivores says the Best American Cuisine. Famous is
open for Lunch Monday through Friday 11 AM until 3 PM
and Dinner Everyday 4 PM until 11 PM.
On the
Lunch menu at Famous are some great Appetizers including
Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters Rockefeller, Carpaccio,
Maryland Lump Crabmeat Cocktail, French Onion Soup, and
Soup of the Day. Under the Salads are Prime New York
Strip Steak Salad, Salmon or Chicken Caesar, Sesame
Chicken Salad, Crab Stuffed Avocado, Shrimp and Crab
Louie, Fresh Tuna Salad, and Classic Cobb Salad. For
Sandwiches they have Famous Prime Cheeseburger, Open
Faced Prime Rib Sandwich, Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich,
Portabella Mushroom Sandwich, and Philly Steak Sandwich.
The House Specialties are Filet Mignon, Prime New York
Strip Steak, Ribeye, Fresh Salmon Fillet, Fresh Tuna
Steak, Chicken Oscar, Maryland Lump Crab cakes, and Cold
Water Australian Lobster Tail. The Dinner menu Includes
the same things plus the Entrees which are Filet Mignon
10 & 14 oz, Maytag Bleu Cheese New York Strip, Prime
Porterhouse, Prime Kansas City Bone-in Strip, Ribeye
Steak, Colorado Rack of Lamb, Fresh Salmon Fillet, Fresh
Tuna Steak, and White Marble Farms Double Pork Chops. On
the Dessert menu at Famous is New York Cheesecake, New
York Cheesecake with Fresh Fruit, Flourless Chocolate
Cake, Cr�me Brulee, Fresh Berries and Cream, For Dessert
Specials you may ask your server what they have
available.
Famous has
a great selection of wine on their wine menu as it
starts with their featured wines Bennett Lane Maximum
Red Wine, Star Lane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Lugi
Bosca Gala 2 Cabernet Sauvignon Blend, Arrowood Cabernet
Sauvignon, Lokoya Cabernet Sauvignon, and Papillon
Bordeaux Blend Red Wine. There is a wide selection of
Cabernet Sauvignon with Flora Springs, Cardinate,
Marcelina, Provenance, Cakebread, Jordan, Silver Oak,
Branham, and many more. They also have Wine by the
Glass, Champagne and Sparkling Wine, Chardonnay, White
Wine, Pinto Noir, Merlot, Zinfandel, and Other Red
Wines.
Famous
Steakhouse has a live piano that plays seven nights a
week and it starts at 7 PM. They accept all major credit
cards and you can even call to order take out.
