Butch's
Lobster Bar is known as a real East Coast seafood
restaurant. It specializes in Maine lobster, steak,
chicken, ribs, and a great children's menu. The
restaurant serve's starting at 5:30pm until 10:00pm.
This restaurant is owned by Butch Darden and he knows
his lobster! On the menu is a list of many different
seafood such as crab legs, shrimp, and steamers. As well
as obligatory steak and chicken dishes.
Butch's
Lobster Bar serves up live Maine lobster due to the fact
that they have a sea trolley or "Overnight Delivery".
This way they can ensure that all their guests receive
the most fresh lobster in town. On top of all that the
owner is a former Cape Cod Lobsterman, therefore he has
the knowledge on a thing or two about preparing the best
lobster dishes.
Here at
Butch's Lobster Bar guests can choose their lobster to
be steamed, grilled, or baked. If you do not want
lobster there are other fresh seafood such as swordfish,
halibut, shrimp and Alaskan crab. Not in the mood for
seafood at all? Well there are also steak and pasta
options so don't be discouraged. The environment isn't
fancy, Butch's Lobster Bar just want people to come in,
relax, and enjoy their food.
Butch's
Lobster Bar celebrated their 29th year of having the
best catch on the East Coast. This restaurant is known
to have the freshest and most authentic Atlantic seafood
on this side of the Rocky Mountains, even though they
are at 9,000 feet elevation. The seafood caught for this
restaurant come straight from the cold, pristine waters
of the New England. There are over 50 items on the menu,
also known as the world of seafood is your oyster at
Butch's. The best your money can buy is the favorite
oysters and they come straight from Cape Cod. The menu
also holds mussels, clams, shrimp, salmon, escargot,
cod, tuna, squid, scallops, kind crab, or mahi mahi. Two
of the most popular appetizers on the menu are the
lobster bisque and Shrimp Dijon. Of course the signature
dish here at Butch's is the Maine lobster which can
either be steamed, broiled, or grilled. Want steak
instead? Have a New York strip steak that is grilled to
perfection. For dessert Butch's has an amazing Key Lime
Pie.
The
restaurant is very laid back and wants you to to
comfortable. All over the walls are pictures of family
and friends with their big catches on docks from all
over the world. Reservations are recommended but not
mandatory and parking is free at Timberline Condominiums
just across from the Village Lot 13. When you visit
Butch's Lobster Bar be sure to ask Butch about the time
he caught a 19 pound lobster! He loves to tell his
story!
