Breckenridge Brewery -Denver
The original Breckenridge
Brewery was opened in February of 1990 by Richard
Squire. His dream was to ski all day and dink great beer
every night back in the 1980's. He lived in the Rocky
Mountains so the skiing all day part was easy for him
but the great beer wasn't. He started brewing his own
beer for himself and his skiing buddies but it became
very popular. Richard then started brewing more than
skiing and so he decided to open his own pub.
Breckenridge Brewery still
today continues to satisfy their beer drinkers with
Richard's original recipes as well as a handful of
seasonal creations. In 1992 Richard opened a sister
brewpub in the downtown Denver area. In May of 1996,
Richard opened the brewing and bottling facility in
Denver's historic Golden Triangle neighborhood. At the
brewing and bottling facility is where they craft and
package the bottled and kegged version of their
nationally acclaimed beers. Today Breckenridge Brewery
handcrafts about 30,000 barrels of beer every year and
sells it across Colorado as well as 25 other states.
On the menu at
Breckenridge Brewery for the Starters they have
Artichoke Dip, Nacho Grande Platter, Macaroni & Cheese
Wedges, Quesadillas, Chicken Tenders Basket, Tortilla
Chips & Salsa, Con Queso Dip, Buffalo Shrimp basket,
Smoked Sausage & Cheese Platter, Buffalo Wings, Ribs and
Wings, and Chili Cheese Fries. For Soups & Salads, they
have Icy Hot Buffalo Chicken Salad, Southwestern Green
Chili. Southwestern Chicken Salad, Old Fashioned Chicken
Salad, Quilted Cobb Salad, and side salads. There is a
Mexican part of the menu with Sizzlin Fajitas, Chile
Relleno Burrito, Chile Rellenos, Chicken Fajita Wrap,
Chicken or Beef Burrito, and Enchiladas. For Sandwiches
they have Prime Rib French Dip, Rockies Prime Rib Dip,
Pulled Pork, Turkey Reuben, BLT, Turkey & Avocado,
Smoked Brisket of Beef, Portobello Melt, Heart-stopper
Sausage, Grilled Cheddar Cheese, Bison Meatloaf
Sandwich, Double Decker Club, and Chicken Salad
Sandwich. They also have Grilled Chicken Breast,
Focaccia Chicken Grill, California Chicken Club, Garden
Burger Monterey, Cowboy Bison Burger, Pressed Cuban
Burger, Great Breck Cheeseburger, and more.
Brew Pub Favorites are
Ale-Battered Fish & Chips, Ale Battered Country Fried
Steak, Beer-B-Que Ribs & Chips, Ale Battered Shrimp &
Chips, and Charlie's Blackened Fish Tacos. The Entrees
include Beef Tenderloin, Spice Crusted Top Sirloin,
Ancho Chile Honey Glazed Salmon, Grilled Fresh Salmon
Fillet, and Beer-B-Que Pork Ribs. For the Side Dishes
they have Creamy Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Vegetable of
the Day, Seasoned Black Beans, Large Guacamole, Small
Guacamole, Small Brew Fries, Large Brew Fries, Creamy
Cole Slaw, Spanish Rice, Large Salsa Fresca, and Small
Salsa Fresca.
