Village Steakhouse - Aspen
The best
kind of restaurant to eat at is a steakhouse. The
Village steakhouse has mouth watering steak and a great
salad bar that has about 39 items included. This Village
Steakhouse is located on the second floor in the
Wildwood Lodge, right above the Village Mall. The
Village Steakhouse has an early bird special every
evening starting at 5pm and ending at 6pm. Their
featured foods are cuts of beef, savory seafood dishes,
and pasta. They are also famous for their Rocky Mountain
Oysters.
Also
included with the restaurant are Wild Game Specials and
a special children's menu. The restaurant also has
takeout and delivery, reservations are accepted, all
credit cards are accepted except Discover, and they are
handicap accessible.
The
Village Steakhouse restaurant has a full menu to choose
from including Salad Bar, Starters, Steaks, Add-Ons,
Besides Steak, Sides, and Desserts. The Salad Bar has a
mixture of greens, Caesar Salad, Pasta Salads, Fresh
Vegetables, six different dressings, and the special
Chef's Creation. Also on the Salad Bar are two fresh
soups daily. The Starters include many different tasty
treats such as Shrimp Martini, Western Shrimp, Venison
Medallions, and much more. The Steaks are served as the
finest choice Beef available. All are served on a bed of
Onion strings, with a choice of baked potato, baked
sweet potato, rice, garlic mashed potato, or steak
fries, and winter vegetables. Included in the Besides
Steaks are the Fresh Catch of the Day, VSH Pasta,
Lobster Tail, and many more. As for the desserts, there
is the Black Forest Bread Pudding or you may ask the
server to bring the daily dessert tray to your table and
make a choice or your own.
The
Village Steakhouse has a no-nonsense feel and doesn't
try to be Los Angeles hip. They are more focused on
their great tasting cuisines and having a family
friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is big when it comes
to their meat. They have many different selections like
the Garlic Ribbed Prime Rib that comes in three
different sizes. They also have the Molasses Cured Pork
Loin. If your not too big on red meats the restaurant
also carries chicken and seafood. Not only does the
restaurant have a great selection of meats and amazing
food, they also have a wide selection of fine wine.
Along with
this delicious dinner cuisine, the restaurant also
offers a breakfast called the Skier's Express breakfast.
The breakfast is a continental breakfast buffet as well
as a full-service hot breakfast menu. This give visitors
the choice, depending on how fast they want to get back
on the slopes. The breakfast is open at 7 am and runs
until 10 am.
