Applebee's
Grill -Pueblo West
Applebee's was first
opened in Atlanta, GA by Bill and TJ Palmer during the
year 1980 but in 1983 the Palmers sold Applebee's to
W.R. Grace and Company. In 1985 Bill Palmer who is the
principal owner of Cafe Ventures became a franchise of
Applebee's. The restaurant's name changed to Applebee's
Neighborhood Grill & Bar in 1986. In the year 1989 the
100th Applebee's franchise opened in Nashville,
Tennessee. By 1996 there are 819 restaurants that
operate in 45 states, Canada, the Caribbean, Germany,
and the Netherlands. Then in 1999 there are about 1,168
restaurants open all over the world. Then by 2005
Applebee's expands international growth to Ecuador,
Brazil, and Jordan. Today Applebee's has many awards and
is known as a great franchise.
Some awards that
Applebee's has won are Chain of the Year, Excellence in
Retention Award, Heart of the Workplace Award, Top
Performer in Management Retention, Catalyst Award,
Project Excellence and Team Excellence Awards, and One
of America's Best Managed Companies.
The menu at Applebee's
include many choices starting with the Delicious
Appetizers which include the Appetizer Sampler, Spinach
& Artichoke Dip, Mozzarella Sticks, Chicken Quesadilla
Grande, Nachos Nuevos, Dynamite Shrimp, Cheeseburger
Sliders, Boneless Buffalo Wings, Veggie Patch Pizza,
Crunchy Onion Rings, and a few others. On the Steaks
part of the menu they have 9 oz House Sirloin, Ribeye,
New York Strip, Bourbon Street Steak, Chop Steak, and
more. Their menu also includes Honey BBQ Baby Back Ribs,
Applebee's Riblets, and Fajitas. There is Fiesta Lime
Chicken, Margherita Chicken, SMothered Grilled Chicken,
Chicken Fingers, and Garlic Herb Chicken. For Seafood
they have Cajun Lime Tilapia, Orange Glazed Salmon,
Parmesan Tilapia, and Double Crunch Shrimp. They also
have some great tasting pasta such as Crispy Orange
Chicken Bowl, Chicken Broccoli Pasta Alfredo Bowl, Three
Cheese Chicken Penne, and Grilled Beef Teriyaki Bowl.
Their Burgers and Sandwiches include Quesadilla Burger,
Bruschetta Burger, Cowboy Burger, Mini Bacon
Cheeseburger, Fire Pit Bacon Burger, Brewtus Steak
Burger, Cheeseburger Sliders, Oriental Chicken Rollup,
Club House Grill, California Turkey Club, and Philly
Cheese Steak. On the dessert menu they have Apple
Caramel Supreme, Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Mousse,
Strawberry Cheesecake, Hot Fudge Sundae, Maple Butter
Blondie, Triple Chocolate Meltdown, Sizzling Apple Pie,
Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae, and some for kids such as
Oreo Cookie Sundae and Oreo Cookie Shake.
